Dr. ZfazDr. Zfaz is originally from Mexico City, where earned his D.D.S. from Universidad Tecnologica de Mexico. In 2000 he completed a residency program in Advanced General Dentistry at Boston University, a residency program in Periodontics at Nova Southeastern University, for which he received the Fishman Award in Periodontics for clinical excellence and a one-year Fellowship in Prosthodontics. where he focused on the interactions of complex periodontal-restorative implant cases. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI).

Dr. Zfaz practices Periodontics in South Florida since 2004, focusing primarily on Periodontal Endoscopic Procedures and has incorporated his prosthetic background into his practice in the form of implant temporization. He lectures nationally and internationally on Implant and Perioscopy related topics. He was associate professor in the Department of Periodontics at Nova Southeaster University for 2 years and adjunct faculty in the department of Postgraduate Prosthodontics, where he taught clinical implantology. He has authored and coauthored numerous publications.
